Over a four year period, Radicle partnered with ExpoLive to ideate & design a Grand Challenges mechanism to identify trends and disruptions that can place Expo2020 at the edge of future sense-making, bringing together unlikely cross-sectoral actors to build consensus and momentum towards solving a series of grand/wicked challenges. Leveraging an emergent portfolio of ten global inquiries, the process focused on enabling coalitions for launching global multi-stakeholder experiments in key domains, ultimately seeding the roll-out of domain-specific global movements at the Expo2020 itself, across four pillars – Humans to Humans (and Institutions), Humans to Nature, Humans to Things (and Spaces) & Humans to The Future.
